About Blue Lake Biergarten

Blue Lake Biergarten is Michigan’s first Biergarten (beer garden in English) established at a working hop yard, Blue Lake Hops and Gardens. It is a place intended to have folks come together for beer (and other drinks), good food and an area attraction for visitors and residents alike. We have our long-table seating, as well as a few more intimate seatings for all to be able to find their place in the Biergarten.

The Blue Lake Biergarten is an outdoor space with tree shaded, pavilion type and picnic table seating. Spring and Fall are times when heaters and fire sources make a visit memorable. During the winter we have limited seating in our working greenhouse which welcomes locals and residents for a unique middle-of-the-woods experience. It is the Manistee-Huron National Forest around us!
